As a Senior Software Engineer for FullStack Labs, I work across a variety of languages and frameworks. My main interests in my 11 years as a developer have been in Ruby and Javascript, having worked with Rails, Sinatra, jQuery, Backbone, mustache.js, Node, React, Ansible, Resque, and others! I find it's important to always keep the user in mind when developing an application. How the user will interact and flow through the application is critical to its success. I also find it essential to use tools to maintain code quality: from writing tests and keeping track of code coverage to using tools like eslint and RuboCop. When not found in front of my computer, I can be found playing good board games, being silly with my kid, getting beat at Smash Brothers on the Switch, or reading a programming book.
